Thirty-seven new Covid-19 cases were registered in the last 24 hours, with one new death, figures released by the health authorities show.

The latest victim is a 96-year-old woman who died at Mater Dei Hospital.

There were 47 patients who recovered.

The total number of Covid-19 cases is now 29,548, with 28,610 recoveries and 402 deaths. There are now 536 active cases.

Swab tests carried out totalled 2,243, taking the overall figure to 830,740.

Till yesterday, 237,806 doses of vaccination were given, of which 67,491 were second doses.
