A fight on a construction site landed a man in hospital, the police said.

The incident took place in Mikieland Sapiano Street, Zebbug, at 11.15am.

It involved two men, a Maltese resident on San Gwann, aged 44, and a 22-year-old man from Gambia.

The latter was hit by a hard object and ended up in hospital with grievous injuries.
