A 64 year old man from Żejtun was injured after being hit by car whose driver kept on driving without stopping.

The accident happened yesterday at 7pm.

The victim received help from a medical team and was taken to Mater Dei Hospital. He was certified as grievously injured.

Police are investigating this case.
