1,261 people were fined for Covid-19 regulation breaches over the past 7 days, the health authorities have said.
784 fines were for people not wearing a mask in public.
366 fines were to people who were in groups larger than two.
92 people were fined for being over the number of households allowed in a private residence. Even though some measures were relaxed last week, only two households can gather indoors.
Six establishments were fined for breaching regulations and 13 people were fined for not observing quarantine requirements.
