Registration of summer schools opens

The Ministry for Education said that those persons who intend to offer an Educational Programme in the form of a Summer School/Club for children aged between 3 and 16 years should apply online to register their Summer School/Club as an Educational Establishment with the Directorate for Quality and Standards in Education (DQSE) as stipulated by S.L.327.349. The registration will be valid during the months of June to September 2021.

Interested persons may apply online by following this link: http://edu.gov.mt/summerschools

The Notification Form (Form A) together with all the required supporting documentation as indicated in the online form are to be submitted by not later than Monday, 31st May 2021.

Late submissions will not be processed.

Summer schools will be allowed to operate subject to and following any orders and/or Legal Notices issued from time to time by the Health Authorities.

Given the present circumstances, the DQSE said cannot be held liable to expenses incurred by the Service Provider in all aspects of the organisation of the Summer School, including adherence to requisites and legislation regulating Summer Schools, in circumstances when the said Summer School fails to operate for any reason.
