A man was grievously injured on Wednesday after falling off a scaffold, the police said.

The accident took place inside an office in Triq il-Mithna, Mellieha, at around 1pm.

The man, 33, from Mellieha was given first aid on site and was later taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

The police are investigating.
