Former Inter and Italy defender Tarcisio Burgnich has dies, aged 82, Italian media report.

Considered as one of the best ever defenders produced by Italy, Burgnich started his career with Juventus before moving on to Inter, where he formed part of the team led by Helenio Herrera.

With Inter, Bugnich won four leagues, two Champions Cups and two Intercontinental Cups.

He was part of Italy’s national team which won the European championships in 1968 and was runner-up with Italy in the 1970 World Cup.
