A 31-year-old German man was grievously injured in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday.

The accident took place at around 11:15am in Valley Road, Msida, the police said.

The man lost control of his Orcal motorcycle and fell. He was given first aid on site and was later taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

The police are investigating the incident.
