A 40-year-old Italian man died after falling from a height of four storeys in Hal Far, the police said in a statement.

The accident occurred at 11.30am, in the industrial zone. The man was conducting works on the roof of a factory.

A magisterial inquiry was launched and investigations are ongoing.
