One new Covid-19 case found as three recover

One new case of Covid-19 was reported on Tuesday, as three more people recovered from the virus, health authorities said in their daily update.

With no new deaths reported for a 12th straight day, it means that Malta currently has 70 active cases.

1,432 swab tests were carried out on Monday, taking the total number of swab tests up to 943,984 so far.

Up till Monday, 558,320 doses of the vaccine had been administered, with exactly 329,000 people having received at least one dose of the jab.

238,807 people meanwhile are now fully vaccinated.

Malta has had 30,572 cases of Covid-19. 30,083 of those have recovered, while 419 have died.
