Police seek public’s assistance in locating five wanted people

The police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating five people wanted to appear before Malta’s courts.

In a statement, the police said that a Magistrate had ordered the request for the public’s help in locating five people – four men and one woman – who had skipped out on their court appointment.

Those wanted are 40-year-old Libyan Ibrahin Yassine (pictured above, left), 31-year-old Eritrean Habte Mariam Tsegethans (pictured above, centre), and 36-year-old Italian Emanuele Rebora (pictured above, right).

The police are also seeking 23-year-old Spaniard Andres Felipe Quimbaya Nieto and 21-year-old Finn Emmi Amanda Kumpulainen.  No pictures of them were provided to the media.

People with information about the whereabouts of any of these give people are asked to contact the police, even anonymously, on 21224001 or 119, or at the nearest police station.
