Five new Covid-19 cases found from over 3,000 swab tests

Five new cases of Covid-19 were reported by health authorities on Friday from over 3,000 swab tests.

Three people meanwhile have recovered from the virus, while no new deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.

This means that Malta currently has 29 active cases of the virus.

3,127 swab tests were done on Thursday, taking the number of swab tests up to 975,102 so far.

Meanwhile, 646,651 doses of the vaccine were administered up till yesterday.  355,100 of those were first doses, while 303,939 people are now fully vaccinated.

Malta has had 30,603 cases so far. 30,154 of those have recovered, while 420 have died.
