A biker was grievously injured on Friday afternoon in a traffic accident in Zejtun, the police said.

The accident took place in Ghar Dalam Street at 5.45pm.

It involved a Yamaha bike and a Toyota Passo, driven by a 27-year-old woman of Rabat.

The biker, aged 30 of Marsaskala, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
