Two men injured after altercation in St Julian’s

Two men were injured during an argument in St Julian's the police said in a statement.

The argument took place at 2.45am on Tuesday, and the police were called to St George's Bay. The police found one man unconscious and another with injuries.

Police investigations led them to discover that an argument had erupted between two Libyans and another group of foreign men who escaped the scene.

One of the victims was seriously injured, the other grievously injured. Both were taken to Mater Dei Hospital.

A magisterial inquiry was called and investigations are ongoing.
