Five new Covid-19 cases found with no new recoveries

Five new cases of Covid-19 were reported on Wednesday, while no new recoveries were reported for a second day in a row.

No new deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours, meaning that the number of active cases of Covid-19 currently stands at 45.

2,374 swab tests were done on Tuesday, taking the total number of swab tests done so far up to 985,629.

Meanwhile, 664,859 doses of the vaccine had been administered up until yesterday. 358,168 of those were first doses, while 320,604 people are now fully vaccinated.

Malta has had 30,623 cases of the virus. 30,158 of those have recovered, while 420 have died.
