The National Band Clubs’ Association has called on Health Superintendent Charmaine Gauci to adjust the current health protocols to allow village feasts to be celebrated.
The Association said that it was disappointed at the street celebrations which happened in Hamrun on Wednesday night, and that it seemed like there are laws for those who are strong, and other laws for the rest.
The association continued that it is proposing a revision in protocols so that the celebration of feasts and cultural activities, even in a reduced manner, can be allowed to continue.
They said that they are proposing this in reaction to the big celebrations which occurred on Wednesday, where there did not seem to be anyone following the established health regulations.
