For the third consecutive week Customs enforcement officials intercepted and seized narcotics arriving through our airport, the department said in a statement.

During routine passenger screenings on a Madrid flight, a piece of luggage was flagged as suspicious after passing through the x-ray scanner. Upon physical inspection a plastic bag containing 1.2kg of cannabis was elevated alongside 100g of a yet to be identified brown substance. The luggage belonged to a Spanish passenger claiming to be here on holiday.
