The new rules Malta will introduce as from Wednesday in a bid to curb the spike in Covid-19 cases will ban unvaccinated people from being allowed into the island, sparking chaos among British travellers, British media report.

Inews.co.uk says Malta, a green-list country for the UK, “has made several u-turns on vaccine requirements for UK travellers” but on 30 June, Malta placed Britain on its red list amid soaring levels of the Delta variant.

British families have had their Malta holiday plans thrown into chaos and have faced either leaving their children behind or cancelling their plans altogether, the report says.
