8,323 vaccines were administered at walk-in clinics this past week, Health Minister Chris Fearne has said.

Hundreds of people turned up for vaccination against Covid-19 in a walk-in temporary clinic in Spinola Bay, St Julian's today.

This is the third part of an exercise organised by the health authorities to encourage people to get vaccinated.

The first was held in Mosta on Monday, and the second in Zejtun on Wednesday.

Next week, the walk-in clinic will be available near the Parliament building in Valletta on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdfay between 9am and noon.

Malta has the highest per capita vaccination exercise in Europe.
