A 32-year-old man from Venezuela has passed away after he was injured in a fall on Sunday morning, police said on Monday.

The man was grievously injured after a three-storey fall at around 6am on Sunday.

The accident occurred at a private residence in Tal-Qroqq street, Msida, where the man fell into a courtyard.

The man passed away at Mater Dei Hospital.

Police said that investigations are still ongoing.

Duty magistrate Rachel Montebello is leading an inquiry.
