There were 42 new Covid-19 cases, while 59 have recovered, the health authorities said today.

The total number of cases registered so far has now climbed to 35,950, with 34,447 patients who recovered while 438 people died.

There are 669 active cases, with 33 of them in hospital, including two in intensive care.

The number of swab tests carried out on Wednesday was 3,263, for a total of 1,174,898.

The authorities said that 793,866 vaccination doses were administered, with 411,046 people fully vaccinated.
