A motorcyclist was grievously injured on Friday in a traffic accident in Naxxar, the police said Saturday.

The accident took place at 11.30am in Parish Street.

The biker, a man aged 60 of Mosta, was riding a Peugeot Tweet which was involved in a crash with a Toyota CHR driven by a 45-year-old man of St Paul’s Bay.

The biker was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
