A man was seriously injured after falling from a one-storey height while working on a construction site in St Paul's Bay.

The accident occurred at 10.45am on Sqaq tax-Xema.

The 46-year-old man from the Ivory Coast, who lives in Marsa, was taken to Mater Dei Hospital.

A magisterial inquiry as well as police investigations are ongoing.
