The police have appealed for more information about a woman who died after she was hit by a motorbike in Gzira on Thursday.

The woman is believed to be Tinka Ivanova, the police said.

They appealed for anyone with information about the woman to come forward to the police, even confidentially, on 21224001 or 119.

The accident took place at 2.15am in the Strand on Thursday.

The woman was hit by a motorbike, a Kymco. The biker, a 43-year-old man from Zebbug, was unhurt.
