Two men injured each other in a fight in Zabbar on Friday afternoon, the police said.

The incident took place in Sanctuary Street at 5.30pm.

The two men, aged 27 and 70, and both of Zabbar, were taken to a health centre and later Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.

The younger of the two suffered slight injuries, the other was grievously hurt.
