Man pleads not guilty to committing arson

A 37-year-old man was remanded in custody on Tuesday after he pleaded not guilty to arson.

The police said that the man, a resident from Munxar, Gozo, was charged with setting a car on fire on 1 September, and causing third party damages.

The man was also charged of committing the said offenses while he was out on parole, and relapsing.

The prosecution was led by Inspector Bernard Charles Spiteri.
