13 new cases of Covid-19 registered, 35 people recover

13 new Covid-19 cases were registered on Sunday, and 35 people have recovered from the virus, the health authorities said.

The number of active cases currently stands at 421.

There are currently 18 patients at Mater Dei Hospital, four of whom are in the ITU.

So far, 816,727 vaccine doses have been administered, 6,908 of which are booster shots.

So far, Malta has registered 37,090 cases of Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic, with 35,805 people recovering. In total, 457 people have died.
