President George Vella has commented about the news that a migrant worker was allegedly dumped on the side of the road by his boss, after the worker suffered a construction site injury.

President Vella said: "I hope they find the person responsible and that justice is served." He expressed his hope that the worker recovers. "Whoever allegedly abandoned him in this cruel way must pay for his actions."

The Police are currently investigating the case.
