Eight new Covid-19 cases were recorded today, while the number of patients in hospital is down to 11 from yesterday's 13, the health authorities said today.

Two of these patients are in intensive care.

The last time that the number of new cases was in single digits was on 3 July, when seven new cases were registered.

Forty-five patients have recovered from the virus, which means that now there are 333 active cases.

The number of deaths remains at 457.

Till yesterday, 820,435 vaccination doses were administered.

The total number of Covid-19 cases has reached 37,129, while 35,930 patients have recovered.
