19 new cases of Covid-19 were reported by health authorities, as one patient is now being treated in intensive care. 

15 people have recovered, taking the number of active cases up marginally to 271. 

9 Covid-19 patients are currently being treated at Mater Dei Hospital, with one of those being in intensive care. 

Till Wednesday, 834,543 doses of the vaccine had been administered – 20,048 of which were booster doses. 

Malta has had 37,285 cases of the virus. 36,146 of those have recovered, while 459 have died.
