A prisoner serving time has been caught with a dossier with information about the children of politicians, journalists, TV personalities, members of the judiciary and other prominent people in society, TVM reports.

The information, which also includes details about the children of other inmates, was gathered from media reports, TVM reported.

The Corradino Correctional Facility director general, Alex Dalli, has passed on the information to the police, who have launched an investigation.

The prisoner is not being allowed to attend Mass with other inmates, and is also being kept away from communal areas, TVM reports.
