Rain, strong winds and rough seas will persist through the whole weekend, the Met Office forecasts.

It has been a long week of rainy days and inclement weather, with 74mm of rain falling at Luqa in one single day. 

So far, in October, 180.2 mm of rain have fallen, when the average for the month is 75mm.

It is expected to continue to rain at least until Tuesday, according to the Met Office forecast, with possibly some respite on Sunday.
