32 new cases of Covid-19 were reported on Sunday as the number of people in hospital and in intensive care decreased.

19 people have recovered from the virus, meaning that Malta currently has 565 active cases of Covid-19.

12 patients – three less than Saturday – are receiving treatment at Mater Dei Hospital, two of whom – one less than Saturday – are in intensive care.

903,363 doses of the vaccine have now been administered by health authorities, with 71,828 of those being booster shots.

Malta has had 38,204 cases of the virus so far. 36,766 of those have recovered while 462 have died.
