Employees at Air Malta, Enemalta and Telemalta as well as other Maltese entities have suffered some type of injustice under a Labour government, Nationalist Party Deputy Leader David Agius said today.

There have been numerous injustices affecting workers which have been met with apparent indifference by the current government, said Agius.

He promised that a PN government would return any funds which these workers have lost, said Agius.

PN candidate Ivan Castillo said that there have been multiple cases regarding injustices at Air Malta, Enemalta and Telemalta. Castillo mentioned a case of workers from Enemalta who have been “caged” in an unjust system, a situation which a PN government would rectify.

Asked by the press on whether the PN has the necessary funding for tackling these injustices and fulfil the promises being made, Agius replied that €2m would be allocated. Castillo added that any person suffering from an injustice and a shortage of money may approach the PN.

“The money will not go towards corruption, but rather in our citizens’ pockets,” said Agius.
