People over the age of 50 will be able to start registering online to receive the Covid-19 booster shot from November 29, a government statement read.
Prime Minister Robert Abela visited a booster vaccination centre at the University of Malta. He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Chris Fearne.
"The administration of the booster shots is moving ahead efficiently," he said.
The Prime Minister said that expert studies show that the vaccine is effective and said that the booster is the next step.
Deputy Prime Minister Fearne urged everyone to register for the booster when they can, so that the people can gith the virus with the best possible tool.
