A man was seriously injured in a stabbing incident in Fgura on Sunday afternoon, the police said.

The incident took place in William Lassal Street at 3pm.

It involved two men from Indonesia, aged 30 and 40.

The 40-year-old was taken to Mater Dei Hospital with serious injuries.

Magistrate Astrid May Grima is leading an inquiry.
