95 new cases of Covid-19 were registered on Wednesday, as 70 people recovered.

This brings the number of active cases up to 1,213. The last time we had more than 1,200 active cases was on 5 August.

Currently, 11 people are at Mater Dei Hospital with Covid, two of whom are in the ITU.

959,906 Covid vaccines have been administered, 123,944 of which were booster doses.

So far, Malta has registered 39,443 cases of Covid-19, while 37,443 recovered. 468 people have died with Covid since the start of the pandemic.
