A night of solidarity at Tiffany Lounge

Thursday, 16 December 2021, 07:32 Last update: about 3 years ago

On the 5th of January 2022, Tiffany Lounge opens its doors to support the Women’s Rights Foundation.

Sandra Unger, the managing director of Tiffany Lounge, is dedicating her birthday night to the Women’s Rights Foundation (WRF). Leading a series of businesses on the island, Sandra was nominated “Woman Entrepreneur of 2021” by the Polish Embassy in Malta, and in her journey, she successfully organised donations aimed to help disadvantaged children and women for many years. As of next year, Sandra wishes to raise the bar on her endeavours and focus on the empowerment of women in need. Having a legal background, Sandra acknowledges the significance behind women’s rights movement, and devotes her efforts in support of the WRF.

The WRF is an international voluntary organisation committed to informing, educating and empowering women in regard to their rights. Providing legal representation for the survivors of the domestic violence, sexual exploitation and human trafficking is all part of their mission to counter discrimination due to their gender. The Malta WRF observatory has a mandate to end femicide, in particular by men close to them. The threat of intimate partner violence is just the pinnacle of the danger women endure as their safety is increasingly undermined within local society. The importance of Women’s Rights Foundation in Malta cannot be overstated.

If you sense the calling for this cause, then join us for a spectacular gastronomic evening of delicious seafood to be enjoyed together with delectable champagne and wines. The event will be held on the 5th of January 2022 at 19:30 at Tiffany Lounge restaurant (Portomaso, St Julian’s). With a donation of €120 you will have the chance to relish a wonderful night for a great cause.

And to conclude, Sandra Unger highlights the following:

Although I already have lots of support from different women ready to help, I am extending the invitation to men as their presence at this event will send out a powerful signal of solidarity to the rest of society”.
