Clifton Grima has taken the oath of office and was officially sworn in as the new Minister for Education and Sport.

Grima had been parliamentary secretary for youth, sport and voluntary organisations.

He replaces Justyne Caruana as minister, who resigned before Christmas after the Standards Commissioner had ruled that ethics were breached when a €15,000 contract was awarded to her friend, Daniel Bogdanovic.
