An elderly man reported missing by police over the weekend has been found safe and sound.

Police on Sunday appealed for information on the whereabouts of 76-year-old Joseph Grech.

He was last seen near Mater Dei Hospital on Friday 21 January, but police said on Monday that Grech had been found.
