New director for the Asset Recovery Bureau announced

Anthony Sevasta has been appointed Director of the Asset Recovery Bureau, a government statement read.

The appointment was made after consultation with the Asset Recovery Board, which unanimously approved the nomination, the statement added.

Sevasta had served as the CEO of Identity Malta for the last four years. In the years preceding that, he served as a Head of the IT and Communications Department within the same entity. He has also served in a number of roles in various institutions and entities throughout his career, the statement read. He has a Masters Degree in Business Information Technology.

He will replace Kenneth Camilleri who served as Acting Director of the office in the past months.
