A biker was grievously injured in an accident on the Coast Road this morning, the police said.

The accident took place at 8.15 on what is officially known as Salina Street, Naxxar.

It involved a Hyosong bike, ridden by a 24-year-old man of St Paul’s Bay, and a Mazda Demio driven by a 32-year-old woman of Fgura.

The biker was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
