Election survey sees gap between PN and PL widen since 2017 general election

The Labour Party has increased support over the 2017 general election, while the PN has lost further ground, according to an election survery by statistician Vince Marmara.

The survey, the first to be released by Marmara in this election campaign, gives the PL a trust rating of 55.7%, while the PN enjoys a trust rating of 42.7%. Only 1.6% of respondents said they would vote for ADPD and other political parties.

In the 2017 election, the PL had a trust rating of 55.0% while the PN had a rating of 43.7%. This means that the PL saw an increase of 0.7% while the PN saw a drop of 1.0%.

The survey was carried out between 17 and 21 February. Marmara said 750 people were interviewed, and the survey has a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of +/-3.6%.
