Adrian Scicluna presents a mixed collection of paintings and sculpture at Lily Agius Gallery, piecing together a landscape formed of multiple realities. Scicluna plays with notions of absence and presence, being and place, a kind of vacant reality yet with his Multiple Realities series, whilst the collection from the Algorithms of Post Human Desire series is shaped by the context of post human landscapes, inspired by data hacking and pattern recognition. Landscapes were painted as forms of data streams and sites of organic growth. Remote sites attach themselves to a larger data stream. The collection being exhibited was created in the last few years and creates closure for the artist since relocating to Abu Dhabi last summer.
