A 32-year-old motorcycle rider was grievously injured in an accident at 9am this morning in Msida.

The motorcycle rider - a 32-year-old woman from Qormi, was riding a Peugeot Django. She was involved in a collision with a Toyota Vitz driven by a 42-year-old woman from Attard while on Triq il-Wied.

The 32-year-old was taken to Mater Dei Hospital. Police investigations are ongoing.
