The musical duo Bloodline, who had won the admiration of many Maltese and Gozitans during the second season of X Factor in which they placed fifth, released their first original single Minute to Midnight (MTM), a song which continues to establish their unique style, as well as evolving and exploring their dynamic potential!

Renowned for their unique synchronization, Samira (19) and Julia (20) perfectly merge dark- pop with the lingering melody that only Bloodline manage to convey to such a pleasant tune, keeping you curious and gripped to the next note, and the next... and the next... As one can notice in their brand-new single Minute to Midnight (MTM), lyrics written by the duo themselves along with Lex (Alexei Debono), who also composed the music.

This song is just a glimpse of what the two inseparable girls were doing and how they spent the three month they were forced to stay inside due to the pandemic. A time that served to exploit their inspiration and get them to work on new material.

Minute to Midnight (MTM) is intimate, the most intimate journey we know, it is about our personal journey. The struggles we fight to keep the first and last love that a person must have; for oneself. To best express this message, they chose a rather dark(er) beat different to what we have heard so far from this duo. A tune that sparks new ventures and keeps us on edge for what's in store for Bloodline's future. This splash of darkness is also very vivid in the videography.
