Muka is accused of murdering Chris Pandolfino and Ivor Maciejovski in their Sliema home on Locker street back in 2020. Pandolfino and Maciejovski were found shot dead.

Another man, Viktor Dragomanski, has also been charged in connection with the murder and a third, Jesper Kristiansen, is awaiting indictment.

Last week, Muka had been assigned a legal aid lawyer temporarily due to ongoing issues he had with legal representation. The sitting was delayed until a committee regulating lawyers issues a ruling after the accused tried to engage a new lawyer without paying his previous one. The issue remained underolved when the court resumed the case today.

The Magistrate told the accuse to liaise with the Chamber of Advocates to resolve the issue. Muka questioned how he was to contact the Chamber from prison, but the court told him that this was his problem to solve.

The case will continue on May 23.
