The trunk of a tree has snapped, falling onto a road in Mellieha and is blocking the carriageway.

The tree has fallen in Ghajn Zejtuna Street, as one is going down or up from the boathouses area at the Xatt ta' Santa Marija.

It is blocking more than one half of the road, and could be a danger to motorists.
