Emma Muscat has failed to lead Malta to the Eurovision final night, as she bowed out of the competition in Thursday night’s semi-final.
Emma was not among the top 10 in the Eurovision’s second semi-final on Thursday, meaning that she drops out of the competition.
She sang ‘I Am What I Am’ – a song which was controversially changed from the entry which won her qualification for the Eurovision, with the staging seeing her starting the song behind a piano and then joining the choreography on stage.
The news perhaps doesn’t come as a surprise: Emma was placed 11th by the bookies in the semi-final, which was made up of 18 countries.
