A man was grievously injured after he fell while working in a residence in Sliema on Wednesday.

The accident took place in Rudolph Street at around noon, the police said.

The man, 42, from Mqabba, fell from a height of one storey while working on a ladder.

His injuries were classified as grievous. The casualty was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

Police investigations are ongoing.
